I am an Aussie that moved to California (Irvine) for work 5 years ago and am now looking at moving home within the year or two. I was wondering what direction do you think the USD will take? Will it keep going lower or will it strengthen. I am afraid that I may have missed the boat when the AUD was down to 60cents a few months back and I am wondering if I should transfer my savings, which is a huge amount, back home now or wait for the USD to strengthen again if it will ever. I don't want to miss the boat again only to find out that the AUD just hit parity with the USD and my hard work here was for naught. Is 80cents the best I will do now or will it dip lower.
