The Adjustable Rate Mortgage Supply Overhang

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I had a 2 yrs ARM and by the grace of God I was able to refi last July. Yes!! July as in the month before the credit crunch of last year. Let me tell you, I was in one hell of a stress because it was due to reset in August, also. I literally saw the doors of 'refinancing' closing on me. Whew! Live and learn.

Too bad IHB didn't come into existent sooner. Alot of first time buyers would have been educated about these loan products. Thus, avoided alot of this mess.

Have Ten and IPO ever been seen in the same room at the same time?

The unseen magnetic forces of the universe would never allow that Eva. Ten and I are opposites in so many ways, and yet our shared love for THE HOUSE unites us in this fine digital community. He, nattily attired in his Abercrombie, me, wearing whatever I could find cheap at Costco or Old Navy. Ten has the 6-pack abs of steel, me the flabs of Del Taco... Each hair on ten's head is meticulously groomed and held in place by an aromatic pomade. Me, the hair is controlled by a flipped around baseball cap most of the time and I shampoo with the Equaline stuff from Alberton's. Ten's a Trojan and I have the Bruin Love. We are ying and yang, ebony and ivory, so different but yet melding to form a more powerful sum than our disparate parts!

[IPO stops to ponder if Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder would ever consider the Ebony & Ivory Reunion tour, Paul maybe could use the money now...]

Uh, nope, to answer your question, never met ole Tenner, the Ten-Man, 10-orama, Ten-niffic.

I was wondering about your situation. I remember when you first started posting and you told your story. I am relieved to hear you were able to refinance and keep your home.

I was thinking about that too - dual personalities?

[IPO cackles with mad glee and checks with his ten persona, "Dude, they've found us out. What do we do?". ten persona ponders, shrugs, and says Just roll with it baby, let's change our handle to Sybil or maybe Herschel Walker and have some more fun!]

Best split personalities ever:

ipop - Ed Norton

ten - Brad Pitt as Tyler Durden

Huh? Brad Pitt?

More like Don Knotts as Barney Fife

As long as I still get Ed Norton in Fight Club...

Did somebody say Brad Pitt ??
Ah, Brad Pitt. On Friday I'm headed up to Malibu to stay at the actual house that he rented with Jen Aniston when they got married. True story - I can't wait! I've never been to Malibu before, so I'm pretty excited. The property taxes for the house we are staying at is $102k per year. I can't wait to see what this house looks like. The camera is charging as I write this post.

IR, you are incredible! The post was written over a year ago and it is exactly what is happening.

You've got a lot of pressure for your next call...housing bottom. I'd like to hear about it 1 or 2 years in advance.
