Do any of you out there know which of the tests are reccomended for Irvine soil? Home Depot has test kits for ph, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium levels. I only want to buy what's necessary. Thanks.

the soil in most of the town sucks - its highly alkaline.  Its likely you will need to balance the pH to get anything to grow with some soil prep work.

you can get one of those kits off amazon.com

I'm definitely getting a PH test kit, but was wondering if any of the others I listed above were necessary?

you should test for toxic soil if buying around the great park.
Which reminds me, does Pavilion Park have disclosures? Maybe bones or someone else can answer this question.

From what I remember, I don't think they do because it was located on farmland but there still might be similar disclosures because of the chemicals growers use.
