People are clueless. We asked the kid we bought the new monitor from at Circuit City if it was slow there because of the housing crunch. He said, what's the housing crunch? We gave him a 4 word explanation.

Then he said, he lived in Orlando most of the time, so he didn't know. I said the housing crunch was in Orlando too. He was puzzled. True this was a kid, but he may as well be from Mars instead of Orlando.

He did say things had slowed down after the big Black Friday weekend sales.
 
Talking of Books, I just ordered "The Elephant and the Dragon: The Rise of India and China and What It Means for All of Us". By Robyn Meredith.

It was recommended by a Friend who's Economics Prof recommended it as "One of the best Books he'd ever read" so I'll let you know how it goes....

Unless you ask him about the Wii and then he's an expert! Gotta get your priorities straight.
