So I checked out these townhomes/condos today. I am looking for a starter place to purchase sometime in the future. These are nice for condos but the cheapest price is 320k.
Once you calculate in the HOA+PMI+Mortgage+Mello Roos+Taxes the grand total ended up being about $2800!!!!!! WTF! This is with an FHA loan and only a 3.5% loan which I don't want to do but the guy told me the lenders are requiring about 15% downpayment for a conventional loan for condos. Are you kidding me, $2800 bucks for a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath 1200 sqft condo. I love irvine but not this much. We'll see what this years brings for irvine real estate.
