Standard setback on sideyards for SFR

What is the standard setback on sideyards for Single Family Residence in Irvine. I found lot of discussion on backyards but not so much on sideyards. I have seen couple new communities in CV and SG. Most of them have 5 ft setback on both sides. Is this standard? Are there other new developments in Irvine (PP, OH, BP, LA) that have larger sideyards? Appreciate your inputs and thanks in advance.

Yes, there's a minimum of 5 ft setback for the side yard and most builder just provide the minimum 5 ft.

There's some exception like one of the plan in Mendocino and Capela where builder got the varience approve by the city and a small portion of the side yard is actually less than 5ft wide.
