As the political divide widens, you can expect both Oath Keepers and SPLC to move further toward intolerance of the opposition.  SPLC has already started blacklisting outspoken critics as extremists.

In upcoming years I expect to see proposals like:

"National Statue for Promotion of Tolerance" as cover to send critics to reeducation programs, likely starting with schools.

"Media Improvement Committee" as cover for censorship and book...

Interestingly, back then I was more concerned about stockpiling food, water and emergency supplies.

When the pandemic hit we found out what people went after first…

Shelves was full of food but no toilet paper. @-@
