Sonoma Bathrooms

Has anyone who moved into sonoma noticed any architectural differences between their bathroom and the corresponding model.  I'm moving into a Plan 1 and there seems to be a an extra beam above the shower area - not sure what to make of it.

 
Where is the beam? I know there is one that runs parallel to the sink vanities separating the space between the shower/toilet and that area.

I always thought they should have just extended that down to a wall to cover the shower area and give it some privacy.
 
that's exactly where it is (I'd insert a pic from my house but I can't figure out how to do it).  The pic i have of the model cuts off the ceiling so I can't tell if there is a beam (i don't remember there being one)
