Did the 1/2 day San Luis Obispo downtown walk & food tour:http://www.centralcoastfoodtours.com/
The tour included 1 chocolate shop, 3 restaurants, and 1 desert restaurant. I think the chocolate shop "Mama Ganache Artisan Chocolates" and the Italian Restaurant "Palazzo Giuseppe" is worth mentioning. Since I'm pre-diabetic and can't eat a lot of sweets I'll just put the URL here, as I think it's worth a visit:https://www.yelp.com/biz/mama-ganache-artisan-chocolates-san-luis-obispohttps://www.mama-ganache.com/
On the Italian restaurant:https://www.yelp.com/biz/palazzo-giuseppe-san-luis-obispo-2https://www.giuseppesrestaurant.com/homehttps://www.giuseppesrestaurant.com/menus-1
The food, service, and decor was excellent. I enjoyed the dish "Ravioli di Zucca" (butternut squash filled ravioli):

If you don't want to drive that far, I could suggest Bottega Louie in downtown LA:https://www.bottegalouie.com/
