<span style="font-size: 13px;"><span style="color: red;"><strong>Congratulations to IR and IHB. Once again, our favorite blog gets national exposure frome Slate.com</strong></span>:</span>

"If you're one of the "homedebtors" (a fantastic neologism coined by the anonymous blogger IrvineRenter on the Irvine Housing Blog) in this position, you might start thinking very seriously about just how attached you are to the wisteria vine snaking over the basketball hoop on your garage. That's what a lot of other California borrowers will be doing..."

acpme,

I, too, though it was strange that they did not reference your exceedingly perspicacious posts. Funny, they only singled

out IR.

Congrats IR and everyone that makes this site the place it is.

The Slate article was also picked up by the <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/laland/2008/04/the-coming-cris.html">LA Times</a>.

I read that "homedebtor" was referrenced by some dictionary, Wikipedia, maybe?

With no kudos to IR. I read that on a thread at Caluculated Risk.

I wish I could claim credit for coining the term, but I did not. Maybe through Slate, I will get credit for popularizing it.
