SHAWOOD is the flagship brand of Japan’s largest homebuilder, Sekisui House. We’ve crafted more than 85,000 SHAWOOD homes since 1995 — each one built to meet families’ needs and elevate their day-to-day life. These homes are focused on your family and a sustainable future.

Interesting that their Eastvale homes are cheaper than Temecula and Vegas offerings:

A 3300+ sq ft home in Eastvale is priced at around $1M, so their offering at $1.25M for 3000 sq ft is already a bit above that.

We visited their models and were underwhelmed with their product. While the concept is interesting, honestly buying a home with earthquake protection in mind is not a priority. Also, homes today are build per code and significantly better to handle a decent jolt.

The Eastvale homes are bang in the middle of 3 schools. Traveling in and out will be a hassle, not to mention the constant traffic. Also, not gated and no views. Tough to buy at the premium the builder is asking. The had atleast one quick move-in when we visited.

The Eastvale homes are right next to Eastvale Elementary. Traffic is going to be bad on Orange St since that's where parents are dropping off their kids at the Elementary AND River Heights Intermediate as well. To avoid that traffic, residents would need to turn detour by turn right on Orange St.

Someone told me that Eastvale is like the Irvine of the IE. Is that not true? And if not, what it the Irvine of the IE?
To an extend, it is. Temecula is IE, but it's halfway to San Diego. I still think Eastvale would be the best place to live if I were to live in IE.
