Shall We Dance?

Yep! Now your talking MY language. What is it specifically do you want to know?

Its a OK place, I think you'll get a better "ballroom" dance experience somewhere else though.

Avant Garde is a great place if you are a competitior following your teacher (as ALL teachers there are independent - that is they are not associated with any one work place....). They do hold parties, but again, you have to pay for each and every single event you do take.

My recommendiation would be to talk Londance I at McArthur and Harbor (1-714-850-0676). I can recommend a specific teacher if you can give me more information on what you want to do.

Just a word of warning though... it isn't a cheap hobby. But as my friend said... "its going to cost you a bloody fortune and you're going to love every minute of it! "

Yay! I want to take dance lessons and, yes, take up a new, albeit expensive, hobby. All recommendations will be cheerfully investigated. Thanks!

Hey,

Sounds like we need an IHB dance night. You might think that Graphrix is just a snarky genius, but he can really cut a rug!

It looks like this:

Don't mean to hijack the thread, I think it is related: any good night clubs/night dancing places in the OC where you can go dance the night away, without being surrounded by drunk teenagers with fake IDs? I only went to Landmark in CDM and Club M in Laguna Beach and Landmark dancing is amateur-style (wait until they bring that huge fan to blow the dancers away :) for those who'd done that, you'll know what I'm talking about). Club M is better but gets too crowded. So, any ideas? Has anyone been to Fury in NB?

Try Tiajuana's .... its relatively close and you do get some amount of serious dancers.

I don't go anymore to the meat markets. Its just to annoying to put up with drunk bozos.... Plus remember I don't quite fit the OC mold (don't drive a fancy car, don't live in a house I can't afford, don't wear clothes that are up to the minute now...). Anyways good luck
