Selling home in Irvine

@mvba:

That Belong service is interesting... does it list a rental price?

Great house, was there a floorplan available? Seemed pretty roomy for 2300sft.

It's a good service, I went through them because I know people that work there. If I didn't I would probably go with a local property mgmt company though as the Belong folks are not local and they don't really know the specifics of Irvine. We rented for $5,500

Yes this is the Marin 2X. I really loved how efficient the floorplan was when I bought it. It was perfect for what we needed. And even though it's technically a detached condo, it is a true SFR layout as it has a quite long driveway and sidewalk/parking in front of the home.

This is the long con.....
When it's 2030, and your neighbors are paying 40,000 in property taxes and while yours is still at $26,000, you'll be glad you held it.

Collecting houses is the way.

Then again you could sell it and stick the money into AVGO.
But you can't touch AVGO...

Margin loan interest at Interactive Brokers range from 0.75% to 1.58% currently, a lot cheaper than any mortgage loan so no need to sell stocks and pay tax on the gains when you can tap into liquidity as needed.  Always best to have a diversified portfolio with access to liquidity.
