Selfie stick

Picked one up on a whim for our SeaWorld trip, came in handy, able to get some complete family shots without asking strange hands to grub on our $600 phone.  Yes look a little weird but I'm at that stage in my life where I don't really care about what casual strangers think about me.  Can also double as a weapon if need to, impromptu pool cue stick, horse racing, etc.

I think the only issue with the selfie (or usie) stick is that the front facing camera on many phones is the inferior one.

It's so funny though, I see them everywhere now... it's like people taking pics with their iPad.

Looks like no more selfie stick at Disneyland, but selfie bat is still permitted.

The Disney theme parks, including Disneyland and Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World, imposed a ban on all selfie sticks that went into effect Tuesday.

The park defines selfie sticks as any hand-held extension pole for cameras and mobile devices.
