According to this interactive SEC power outage map, looks like entire OH area and Northwood High are under consideration for planned proactive power outages.

I thought solar panels turn off during power outtages.  So it doesn't matter if you have solar.

Correct.  You need to add a battery to your system to use solar during a power outage.
