Don't let the secret out.  Irvine schools aren't all they're cracked up to be especially if your kid is on the non-honor/AP track.

IRVINE ? A set of exam scores was dropped from the semester grades of 100 students enrolled in a Woodbridge High School teacher's geometry classes, boosting the final letter grades of 36 students without the teacher's knowledge or consent.

Woodbridge Principal Jason Viloria deleted one test score for all of math teacher Alan Doan's geometry students and recalculated their spring 2012 semester grades, resulting in 36 students receiving increases of a half to a full letter grade. The remaining 64 grades were unchanged; no other geometry teachers had their grades altered by the principal.
