Interesting article about predatory lending. I cannot believe that woman PUT $150,000 down Payment and still will lose her House. HELOCs. UN-Beliveable. She Just bought too much House.

Enjoy.

I might support a "bailout" product for someone who can truly afford their home but for a toxic loan.

For everyone else, out you go!

Uh....lets get this straight. This woman and man never have owned a home, don't make that much money b/w the two of them, and then they get qualified to buy a $415K home...give me a break.

I don't feel sorry for them b/c they should have known better. I get sick and tired how everyone, even in other industries, complain how they were preyed upon and forced to sign the docs. She made an impulse decision and now she is f'ed....I am cracking open a beer!!!

-Mino 2126. I agree with you. People are stupid. If you cannot read the contract have it translated? DUH!!

-I saw a few homes also. I knew I could not afford or Would not want to be so House poor. My conclusion was Bigger down Payment. Buy less House. or with the new paridigm shift comming wait for the crash.

-Just 2 Months ago a bank employee at CitiBank was explaining to me how she bought a 300K condo(apartment) 100% financed what a Dumb A$$. she was trying to figure out why I was putting so much money into savings each week. Then told me how I dont need to save for a down payment. OHH really?? I dont need to pay of my car, or my student loans, or my credit card or my future house either. How great!! FOR THE BANK!!
