The strawberries were horrible today. I had my boyfriend hoist up the rotting pallets so that I could get to the fresh ones below. The smell was nasty.

Not the right time for strawberries, no matter how fast the turnover is.

Nothing personal, but you're not supposed to have good produce year 'round.

Now you know my secret! Frozen berries and canned tomatos are the ripest you'll get - because they go straight from the field to the processer and don't have to last 4-6 weeks before somebody gets good and ready to eat them. The sugar makes them tasty and speeds up them going bad.



And that's the reason the stuff from Farmers Markets doesn't last on your counter - it was actually picked ripe (not early).

Add Pinks at Knotts Berry Farm.



I was so excited to get a Pink's hot dog and it was horrible.



Nothing worse then a luke warm to cold hot dog. We had two orders of Fries and I swear they ran out so split the one order into two containers.



They don't have the same selection either.



Over all it was really bad. Nobody liked what they got and when you pay $7 for a hot dog you expect it to be hot.
 
The one in Hollywood is unedible too. I had the pleasure to eat at the Kiosk at Hollywood Park Casino once, and it's the best food service in the whole casino! Which says bad things about the food service at HPC...
