Red Bull warning

Now, I don't drink Red Bull...I am simply posting this article because it gave a warning about the product. Might be just like the caffeine in coffee, but decide for yourselves. The tests were done utilizing the sugar free version.

The caffeine-loaded beverage, popular with university students and adrenaline sport fans to give them "wings," caused the blood to become sticky, a pre-cursor to cardiovascular problems such as stroke.

That's okay.

Vodka thins the blood so the two of them offset each other.

Okay, seriously, I had to stop drinking them because they make me cranky, and I can't handle the crash. 'Goose and Red Bull hangovers are the WORST, because it makes it possible to drink that much more than you otherwise would have before you passed out.

The combination leaves you very dehydrated.

Be sure to drink plenty of water, and down some Advil that should help.

The new trend is Jager bombs.

Personally, I find Jager to be nasty but the Red Bull kills the taste.

They're serving a lot of Diet Rockstar and Vodka these days.

Rockstar has a bigger kick then Red Bull, IMO.

Jager bombs a new trend? maybe in irvine...People have been drinking those for 10yrs or so?

You can compare the caffeine content per ounce here. Monster and Rockstar have a bit more than Red Bull, but not much. I'm partial to Monster Lo-Carb, but I mostly rely on green tea for my hydration/energy needs.

Just take some aspirin when you drink the energy/vodka combo. Anyone who mixes or even drinks Jaeger, deserves to die, I know when I drank it I wished I were dead. Anyway, you thin the blood with aspirin and help the headache, problem solved. Wait... take some Zantac to combat the erosion of the stomach lining.

WTF, whatever happened to just doing a few lines of blow? I almost feel safer taking that route, albeit illegal, but damn it sounds almost as safe.

Great way to avoid hangover is to take a couple of nutritional supplements before you drink.

My recipe:

1 Mulitple Vitamin

2 B-100 Tablets (100 mg of each of the core B-vitamins)

500 mg. L-Cysteine amino acids

2000 mg of Vitamin C

Take with 24 oz of water. And drink the same amount before you go to bed.

Works great.

[quote author="Priced_Out_IT_Guy" date=1219146901]Vodka and redbull? Jager and redbull? Disgusting! Who comes up with this crap?

I'll take another single malt islay scotch on the rocks please.

There is a difference between having a drink and sport drinking.

BTW, you're ruining that scotch drinking it on the rocks.

Neat in a bucket please.

I was in Europe last year and everyone was downing RB and Champagne...sounds like a waste of good Champagne, but it actually is pretty good and it has the caffeine rush.

Actually there is a company down here on the Peninsula that is promoting their new drink additive called "Blow"! I kid you not...it is a white powder form of the stuff that is in RB and Monster and stuff, minus the sugar and horrible taste. Can't wait for a story on how some jackass snorts a ton of this stuff being fun and ends up in Hoag.

What? No, no, no!

Forget the redbull, there is not use on doing with it!

Try THIS one!

Ingredients:

1. A can of beer.

2. Vodka

3. Orange Juice

Ok, so, you take the beer can and take a good zip, then you filled the beer can with vodka and orange juice and shake it a little bit (just a little bit!!)

There, you got yourself a GREAT drink! hehe

try it out and let me know what you think

Yuck.

Yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck

L-cysteine is supposed to promote formation of glutathione,

which is supposed to be excellent anti-aging stuff.

Which you will need to counteract the decrease to your life

span resulting the disgusting consumption of that stuff.

Ruining it? Bah! If it was good enough for my Dad to do it, and my Granddad before that, then its good enough for me.
