Looks like my only choice besides hiring some amigos to go on the roof.  I hate ladders as much as I hate pine needles.

So I'm thinking using the little giant ladder, hopefully in A frame along with my shop vac rain gutter extension.  Probably need to pick up another extension to get up there.  Not looking forward to this.

Why don't u just pay someone to do it?

He is "Hiring amigos"

Ps9 always looking for the deals

Call the guys who were putting up Christmas Lights in December. Some of them follow up and take them down. While their up there, hand them a hose/pressure washer and the problem is solved in about 10 minutes. (even though it might be like asking Carl Spackler to get the job done more than anything else....)

qwerty as always, the voice of reason.  I will if it becomes impossible, like I tell my wife:

You married a scholar not a laborer :)

I'm thinking of getting new gutters as well, this time with a screen, though I hear pine needles can still get stuck.

I actually did hire someone a year ago, unfortunately the gutters got clogged again with the next Santa Anas a few months later.

I'm with u ps9, outside of cutting my own grass I am about as anti-handy as they come. I'm getting to the point where Im debating calling a handy man to hang the artwork my wife bought several months ago that is still sitting in our dining room room.

Must be pricey artwork.

Guessing this month is when a lot of owners find out if their "newly" installed yard drains properly or if the contractor cheapened out.

Thunderstorms!  Perfect, right at drop off time at school.  It's gonna be a zoo, and please remind your kids, don't run in the rain!....water drops can't kill you, bonking your head due to slipping and falling can.
