I think across the board of builders, window coverings are one of the biggest ripoffs out there.  Crownmolding and upgraded baseboards run a close second.

Also, include the other finishing trim in the ripoff category such as wainscoting & ceiling beams...oy veh, ppl must really want these items move in ready if they can't wait a week or two to get it aftermarket and save thousands.
