Property Management recs

As property prices approach rental parity, buying investment property may make more sense. For those of you who are landlords and are not managing your property yourself, do you have any recommendations on Property Management companies? What areas/locations do they cover, how much do they charge, what services do they provide, and do you think it is worth it? I'm looking to hear about specific experiences people have had.

Does anyone here work for a Property Management company?

Can I opine as a desirable tenent?

They all suck.

Your mileage with questionable tenents may vary, but frankly, I avoid the PM properties since the majority of them seem to be worse possible mix of IAC lease aggression with a slumlord's pocketbook.

To be frank, I've never rented from them as the property search, viewings, discussions are so pathetic and frustrating that I've never gotten past the viewings to file an application with a PM firm. With my last search, I just rolled right past any ads for PM managed properties.

I highly recommend Donna. She's based in HB but will manage properties in Irvine.

I hired her to manage my condo for years, and recommended her to several of my friends and coworkers. Tell her Jerry in Irvine referred you.
