Private swimming pool gate repeatedly broken

Over at OH, the gates to the private association swimming pools are constantly being broken to allow entry without a fob. The HOA will eventually fix it and then someone will break it again, and it'll keep going like that over and over.

Is it like this in other communities? Also, does anyone have any idea what the motives are? I'm wondering if these are residents of other communities trying to use our facilities, or friends of residents who are invited over and don't want to hassle with waiting for people to let them in, or residents who forget their fobs and like the convenience of easy entry. I'm really resentful that part of my hefty HOA dues are going towards constantly repairing the gates. I wish they would install surveillance cameras or something.

When we lived in Canyon Creek, we had teenagers jump the fences, who threw pool furniture into the pool and used keys to chip away at the spa decking requiring new pool furniture and fixing the spa decking. I think it involved at least one community member's kids and their friends. Happened every summer.

These days I would say put up a camera and make parents pay for damages.

Here at CV, our pool gate also had been damage a few time too.  And now, we have a security guard patrolling the pool and adjacent area.

This is in the pleb side of OH. Don't know if Groves has less of a problem or more (nicer gated facilities are more tempting to vandalize).

This is the Pool inside Strada. From what I hear it's the renters who didn't get fobs and FCB who think the lock is a hassle.
Renters of houses in the community or nearby apartment renters? If they're apartment renters, every apartment has a pool.

It's the renters within Strada and Terrazza. I don't think the nearby apt residents come over much.

Then I don't understand why the owners don't give them the fobs.

What is a typical cost to have security cameras installed to monitor pool? We just got rid of a pvt security guard who get paid $800 a week and were not able to control folks from the nearby apts trespass.

Time to install cameras and upgrade the gate/fencing:
