Nothing like this happened at Lion Country.  The Los Olivos apartments is built on the site of Lion Country.  The abandoned infrastructure of Lion Country (roads, fences, gates, buildings) was not demolished until just before they started grading Los Olivos.
 
Was it an urban myth that someone was killed at Lion Country. I also never realized that camp frasier that used to be there was actually named after the lion.
