My party of 7 found nothing shorter than a 1 hour wait trying 3 different resturants at 6:30pm on Saturday night. (Claim Jumper/Olive Garden/Sam Woo). I guess if the implication is we are living in busto Irvine in 2008, it does not feel that much different than 2005.

Traffic was great as I headed up to the LA office, this morning --- I guess everyone is out of a job. Oh, wait....That's right, my company does not observe MLK day....

Exactly the same.

- the 2006 fashion clothes will be a bit more worn and dated on their owners ... well at least the new patches will blend right in with the original old ones!

-the housing developments will be the same. No new housing developments compared to now.
 
More vacant homes. Perhaps some parks will be under-maintained due to lack of tax colllection. A noticeable increase in the amount of homeless/vagrants walking the streets. More office units available.

I'm sure the Irvine Company will do whatever it can to maintain Irvine's current state.
