Plumber recommendations? Dishwasher doesn't drain

Hey all,



Our dishwasher stopped draining. The other day we found a puddle of water coming out of it. I didn't see anything blocking the filter. Any recommendations for a local plumber?

Otherwise, it sounds like you need <a href="http://appliancerepairoc.com/">this guy</a> rather than a plumber.



I've called them twice, to fix my dishwasher and washing machine.

Did you check to see if the drain hose was clogged?
 
If you want a never-been-used 10 yrs old dishwasher, let me know. ;)



As others mentioned, it is probably a dishwasher issue, not plumbing. You need to find out where the water coming from, and why it is not going where it needs to go. Is it a worn/loose hose, a bad pump, or a clog in the pipe, etc.?

Not yet. It looks like that is one of the things to check first.
 
VERY EASY TO FIX

Pending on your unit ( more then likely its a ISE disposal )

Under then unit in the middle there is a hole for a alan wrench (you ahould have recived 1 with the unit)

1st Unplug unit

2nd insert alan wrench and turn back and forth (counter clock wise and so on) this makes the motor and blades move to free the jam up.

3rd plug unit in and see if it works.

zovall, if your garbage disposal still have problem, I recommand the Insinkerator Evolution Excel. It is so pretty that I am thinking about getting a glass doors for the kitchen sink so that I can admire the look. Check out the pic:
