Hey, Panda. I saw the picture before you took it down. You guys are a really good-looking couple.. Very nice picture. Thanks for sharing. In Panda's defense, y'all... I think it's possible that he is just trying to be modest. He might appear as a bit of an ego-maniac if he started the thread out with a photo of himself. I would consider it polite that he wants others to share too. Otherwise it could be like saying: "how much do you guys make per year?... oooh, me first, me first!" haha (I wouldn't blame Mrs. Panda for wanting the photo pulled. What self-respecting woman would want it subject to PhotoShop'ing by these guys?! LOL)

24, My wife and I were at Borders last night and I had my iphone book marked to the IHB. It was her first time surfing the IHB and she came across the picture that BK posted above and found it distasteful as she knows that my IHB avitar is Panda. She politely asked me to take down our picture. I know that BK means well and he was justing trying make this thread funny, but Ms Panda did not see it the same.

I'm sorry Panda --- but I have to say you are a terrible thread host. First you ask people to do something that you are not willing to unless *5* others do first. Then when three people actually do post a real picture as you ask, you cannot even be troubled to hit the "thanks" button. Maybe you did not get the people you were looking for? Lastly, after you finally do post a picture of yourself you take it down almost immediately because your skin is not thick enough to take a little lighthearted ribbing from BK --- and then blame it on your wife. C'mon, that's lame. I must say, if what BK posted is offensive to you, then perhaps the internet is not the place for you. You'll find a lot worse than that around.

CK, I think there is some misunderstanding here. I did not take any offense to what BK posted as i know it was done in good humor, not to intentionally harm me. I started this thread to break the ice and allowing people here to get to know each other better by posting their real picture matching their avitar, but I guess that only works in a perfect world. I do respect that many here want to remain anonoymous. I come to IHB for three reasons. 1) latest irvine housing info 2) latest economy info 3) Possibly making some new friends with good people living in Irvine and OC.

CK, you posted a picture up of you and your daughter because she is probably the most beautiful and precious person in your life. That precious and beautiful person in my life is my wife and due to utmost respect i have for her, I do not want to post our picture up where there is a picture of two pandas humping each other, which I think you would feel the same.
 
I also saw the picture before Panda removed it, and yes, I agree, his wife is quite lovely. However, I do find it hard to believe that he doesn't have any pictures of just himself that he wouldn't mind sharing in the interest of fairness.

Ok, I'll buy that...thanks. And just for the record (and in case my wife reads this) --- my daughter AND my wife are tied for the most precious and beautiful person in my life. ;)
 
Apparently, this is what I look like to others.

I'm the tall one. The turtle-shaped appendage on my shoulders is our oldest.

I am told it is a picture of us on our way to Disneyland. He's smooth.

I do not know how to do the post a photo thing, so if someone could just post a pic of Steve Buscemi, that would be close enough.
 
Semi-anonymous. You can't see our eyes. hehe. (Sorry, I don't have any photos without shadows or blurs. I'm always the one behind the lens and only have three of myself from the last couple years.)
