Philippine President Duterte encouraged people to shoot drug dealers by promising they wouldn?t be prosecuted for doing so and since July, over 1,000 drug dealers have been executed by vigilantes. The UN declared over the weekend that extrajudicial killings are a crime under international law. Duterte told the UN he ?doesn?t give a shit? and the UN should stop ?worrying about the bones of criminals piling up? and instead focus on fulfilling its mandate of preventing conflict and alleviating suffering around the world.
