What do you guys think of the PP/Carlisle/Residence 1 @669k. its a detached condo, is it worth the price?

General rule of thumb is stay away from 3 story homes. Unless the stairmaster is your favorite machine at the gym.

Good thing that Best potsticker in town was not among the judges who voted this project the best design in the western USA.

I've studied the floor plans and seen it in-person, and in my not so humble opinion - the design is nothing special. I can't recommend it when it's a proven fact that 3 story homes are less desirable and don't have as strong resale value as other 2 story products.

After knowing someone who owned a 2bed/2bath condo with four floors, I would strongly recommend against it. It's great if you are renting out one room, but walking the stairs gets old really fast.

the 'office' downstairs would need to be at least a bedroom with a bath to make that floorplan decent.
