Plumber I used told me his Newport clients have whole house RO systems, I guess they’re keen on risk mitigation.

Irvine Ranch WD has the worst water quality per our plumbers though all of South OC has terrible water quality which leads to pipe corrosion and copper pinhole leaks - you can see the blue residue which we did when we did the PEX repipe and Halo 5 whole house water system after we sprung a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Highly recommend spending the $5K for the Halo. Water tastes awesome and it’s alkaline.

I got a whole house water conditioner system myself after seeing the annual water quality reports from IRWD as well as EWG tap water database info:

Look up your local water system to find out which pollutants might be of concern, and find suggestions on the best kinds of home filters to remove those chemicals.

An observation from my visit to the toll brothers model homes at the summit. Walking toward the front door to a model and a group of three were walking behind us. They split up and the woman ran up the driveway to go in ahead of us. Like split from the group and darted. We kind of laughed. But then it happened 3 more times, all different people.
