"<em>The Old Spaghetti Factory, which has two Orange County locations, is rolling back prices on Tuesday night (Jan. 6) to celebrate its 40th birthday. The chain is also offering 40% off on certain days in January.</em>"

"<em>Also, the chain said all restaurants will offer 40% off Monday & Tuesday on the following dates this month: Jan. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 & 27. Old Spaghetti Factory has restaurants in Fullerton and Newport Beach.</em>"

Anyone actually interested in braving the crowds tomorrow? @_@

Last night I ordered some take out from my favorite Chinese restuarant up here in Hollywood. Upon picking up the food and arriving at my destination, I realized that the styrofoam food containers were much smaller than I remembered. Not a little.....a LOT smaller. So, what used to be almost two meals for me, ended up being only one. No price decrease.

Wow, I can't wait to walk back in there next time and mention it. The foods still too good to pass up though......

Since there's a meet-up tomorrow, I think I'll pass tonight. :)

if it was that busy, you probably end up paying $10 for the parking at the front. With the long wait, I would rather go on a "regular" day and pay the regular price. Same myself some headaches.

We went to the Fullerton one because phone calls to both yielded a shorter wait time at Fullerton.

They told us no longer than 45 minutes over the phone, when we got there we were told 35 minutes but the actual time was about 20 minutes. After 8:30pm... there seems to be no wait at all.

It was great... all the kid's meals are $2.97 (includes drink and dessert) and the original meals are about $6. If you want to save money on Mon/Tue, you should go to OSF for their 40th anniversary prices.

We went to the Newport Beach one last night... 3 minute wait... seriously.

At about 5pm they were telling everyone 2 hours but by the time we got there... around 7:30pm... it was very quick.

The service was a bit slow because there were large parties but that was tolerable.

Only 3 more anniversary days left!

They could lower it to -0- and I wouldn't go to OSF.

The pasta from Pizza Hut is better than that dive. Sorry to be bitter but it's the truth yo!

Ahh man... hatin' on my spaghetti house... so where do you go for good spaghetti?

So far... no one has come close to Vince's Spaghetti in Torrance. Started going there decades ago... still go there now.

Is that the same as Vince's in Ontario?

<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/vinces-spaghetti-ontario">http://www.yelp.com/biz/vinces-spaghetti-ontario</a>

The food is <em>horrible</em>.......yet I love that place.

Seriously, where do I go? My house! Pasta is not something I go out for. 1 32oz CAN of Hunts meat sauce, a pound of italian sausage, a sleve of the pasta of your choice, a bag of premade mixed lettuce..............dinner for four under seven bucks in twenty minutes.

have you tried the TJ brand sauce? very very good. I get a jar of TJ sauce, half a lb of 5% lean ground beef, a pack of muchroom, one red bell peper, bunch slices of Italina sausages. For salad, I just get a pack from TJ too, less than four bucks. We do this at least once a week, and the kids love it.

Never been to the one in Ontario but I think they are the same owners.

You love the place but hate the food? I'm confused.

Next time I get the hunkering for spaghetti... I'm inviting myself to No_Vas Italian Cafe.

It's a bunch of fun to go eat there.........and the food sucks. Kind of like Buca de Bepo, but Buca's food is better.

I won't pay more than a buck for sauce. Canned Hunts is cheaper than making your own, and I'm just using it as a starter. Stater Bros. runs a 10 - for - 10 deal and I stock up.

Why do people buy 5% ground beef? I like my burgers JUICY. Everytime somebody accidentally buys 5% I wind up adding 1/2 a cup of olive oil back for moisture......

So I went to the Ontario Vince's on the way back from Vegas yesterday... food tastes almost the same but the service wasn't (or maybe it was just our server).

The place was strange as it looked like it was part of an apartment/motel complex.

I think this was the original one... the Torrance one has a much bigger menu with stuff like lasagna and ravioli on it... the Ontario one is just spaghetti.

I want to open one of these in Orange County... and a Versailles.

Lawrys spaghetti sauce powder is excellent. However, I ignore the instruction to drain the fat after browning the groud beef.
