OK...this is getting ridiculous.

Desparate flippers are renting their places out by the night! Almost all condo units and tract homes have restrictions against this.

If this seriously is really the case...thus part of my frustration and hair pulling in this post.

It sucks that the people who really want to live in the area and actually build a family in it, and work in the area period have to deal with and compete with those that are in it just for the cash. People are investing in homes like they are stocks or something. ARGH!!!

You're not competing with them... they are desperate and they are going to lose the property and everything they have in it and you are going to be able to pick it up at a nice discount, live it in it affordably and start your family. Why can't you see what a nice position you are in? I do envy you.

Stepping is correct. The flippers are desperate and are going to eat all the speculative run up for you. You will be able to purchase for much less. But, it will require patience. Those without patience today will be the knife catchers of tomorrow.

This is too funny, looks like some Avenue One, Watermarke and Woodbury units... No wonder my next door neighbor always have a different car... For $199 a night, I rather stay at the Westin, does this include maid service? Well, although Watermarke already feels like a hotel...

Wow! I want to move to this Irvine place. Sunny and warm (76 degrees year round). Sounds like a true vacation destination!

What they are doing is against HOA rules and there is probably an ordinance against it. Imagine if you were their neighbor...

This kind of rental activity will not fly as soon as the summer rental weather is done.

I'll bet these owners are picking up the rent and pocketing it before they get forclosed on.

Desperate times....... call for popcorn for those of us sitting this crazy dance out.
