Occupy Irvine

So I drove past the Irvine Civic Center the other day and saw an Occupy Irvine (http://www.occupy-oc.org/) protest/encampment there. I couldn't help but laugh as I think someone needs to point out to them that most likely they or their parents are the 1%.

I am 100% in agreement that this country needs education (student loan/incentives) reform, but I think the message gets lost in a place like Irvine.
 
Absolutely agree. 99% of the population east of Arizona have never heard of Irvine. If the group want attention they should have camped out a Death Valley where everyone knows where it is and the media would be all over them. Their cause would be magnified with the press. Time is wasted in a sleepy city just like Angel Martinez said on KFI talk radio.
 
Well it looks like Occupy Irvine has officially been removed as of last week. The new grass is growing in nicely and I no longer have to worry about hippie drum circles spreading all over.
