Despite all the crap people post about Irvine and IUSD, they swept away 12 of the 19 Orange County National Merit Finalists spots. Not bad... not bad at all.
Mostly Asian names, no surprise there. Interestingly, only one from University High--everyone else from NW High and Irvine High, and Woodbridge got zero.
The marketing folks at TIC are smiling and starting to count their piles of gold now.
