OC Register ranked all of the 388 elementary schools in Orange County, with results released this morning. The highest ranked schools were grouped into categories: Gold (#1-49), Silver (50-127), and Bronze (128-198) categories.
As would be expected, Irvine and the TUSD schools in Irvine/Tustin Ranch all did very well. 13 of 20 IUSD elementary schools were in the gold ranking, as were the TUSD schools Hicks Canyon and Myford (Northpark and West Irvine) and Ladera and Peters Canyon (Tustin Ranch). The #1 overall elementary school for the county was Bonita Canyon, Turtle Rock was #4, and Ladera was #5.
