What's wrong with it? I'm considering getting one to replace my old 8703e.

I still think the Ipone is a beautiful work of minimalist art. Blackberry not so much. I like the blackberryies... my only issue is that they aren't the easiest to use with the touch screen text.

good luck

Dunno... It's not what I imagined it to be. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful and because it's so pretty, I'm forcing myself to find things that I might like but right now, it's very foreign to me, and this is my first BB.

I guess if you're familiar with the general workings of a BB, I think you'll like it.

The salesperson was really cool at El Toro CC. Ask for Guillermo. Good luck Z.

I hear the clickscreen is a bit weird because although it mimicks the tactile experience of physical keys, since it basically one big button... it slows you down because you have to wait for each click. Is there a way to disable the click need so it's just touch like the iPhone?

I have the HTC Touch Pro... and their onscreen keyboard is way more usable than the iPhone's... makes me wonder why I have the physical slideout keyboard.

Still, the iPhone rules in simplicity and browser experience... even with Opera Mobile... I still think Safari wins.

Also, since the button is in the middle of the device it is more difficult to press at the corners of the screen. I haven't seen a way to disable the the button and I don't think it is possible since it isn't a pure capacitive touchscreen.

That sucks.. I was really looking forward to the Storm. I'll try to stop by a store and check it out. It sounds like it is definitely no iPhone killa but if it is a marked improvement over the Curve, I may still get it.

I'm waiting for another OS update. If the eggheads at BB can kick this thing a good kick in the ass, it'll be much more enjoyable. As to phone quality, it's awesome and the speakerphone is actually amazing, I recorded my greeting on speakerphone and it's crystal clear, but... I don't really want to pay +$100 /month for a phone.

I'll keep the storm if they can come up with an OS update that will speed things up. So they have a month before the test drive is over. I wish helio could come out with something as pretty as the iphone or storm.

Anyway, the storm is all show and no go.

Finally, I updated the OS on my storm last night. The lag is almost eliminated. I think I will be keeping the storm. With it's improved performance, typing on the touch screen has made it that much better. FYI.
