My access has been DENIED!!!

So it looks like my stint at the bank that I'm working at will be coming to an end in about a month. And since they put some of us on a "data integrity" project they took our computers away. My access to the internet and IHB has been DENIED during working hours the past 2 days and through the end of the consulting engagement. I had some horrible withdraw side effects...cold sweats, the shakes, and the need to look at chart porn. I ordered the iPhone so I can get my fix. Not being able to view/post on IHB FTL!!! :(

Wow, now that is dedication. I can't wait for my iPhone to come. I feel like I'm back in the 80s at work with no computer and access to the interweb...oh the humanity. The byproduct is much higher productivity. BLAH

Trojan,

You are going to love the iPhone. I don't understand how anybody can still use the Verizon Blackberry still when the 3G models are only $99 now (reduced from $199). Trojanman, the iPhone rocks!

T, please feel free to ask Mr. M80 about his iphone wizardry. Trust he is more than willing to talk all day and night about it. Plus, I need to feel like all nights he's up "cracking" jailbreaking", or whatever the heck he does until 2 in the morning with his iphone, is helping other people.

I have him on speed dial already. haha I did talk to him and got one of the other consultants hooked up using his laptop with his iPhone so he'll let me go on there a few times a day. I ordered my iPhone but I have to wait...grrrr!!! My fellow iPhone using consultants have already thanked me...tell him to keep up the good work!

when i was an auditor there were a couple of clients who blocked out all sports & entertainment sites. It was horrible. I actually had to work all day. If i had my own business i would do the exact same thing. The internet is such a productivity drain at most companies.

Haha Yeah, I remember with a few clients in the boonies we only had 1 phone line to dial out to get onto the internet...it was basically like not being able to get on it. I need my 30-60 minutes of internet a day (you can call it my break)...you know...to check the market, check e-mails, pop on IHB, and see what's going on with traffic on sigalert. Going from full access to nothing cold turkey is rough.

Smell-O-Vision is one such technology. I have some investiment on the company, and I can sent you a prototype for evalution purpose in 8 month if you promise me to wait by your door when I stop by. You also have to sign the NDA anyway.

Here is one of our competitor product: iSmell Personal Scent Synthesizer I love the name.

T-man,, sorry to hear that your gig is up... we know you are resourceful and will find something else. you mentioned some options before, keep us posted and a lot of us will certainly miss you if you have to leave Irvine...

USC- you are going to love your iphone. I got one just 2 weeks ago. My only complaint is that it is very sensitive to the touch. I have accidently touched a screen and I call someone in my contact list/favorite without intending to call them. I have received calls from others (with iPhones) and that was happening to them too.
