Monday Fun Day - Beating the Monday Blues

State two truths and one lie about yourself. Let the others guess which is the truth. Wait until at least the end of the day before revealing the answer.

Example:

1) The last time I bought a meal for a homeless person and gave it to her, she rejected it. It went straight into the trash. It made me never want to try again & I haven't.
2)) I once cut all of my hair "boy" short - 1 to 2" all over - after losing a bet.
3) While working for the post office, I detected and caught more known criminals while in the act of trying to commit fraud than anyone else in my area. I have a naturally built-in B.S. detector.

Which one is the lie?

1) I tried out and advanced to the semi-finals in College Jeopardy.

2) I tried out for American Idol, made it to the second round but didn't show up to rehearsals so I was cut.

3) I tried out for MTV's Americas Best Dance Crew, advanced to the LA rounds but was eliminated that epiode.

1. As a kid, I tried to do pro wrestling with a friend, I clotheslined him and all his upper teeth fell out.
2. As a young adult, I stopped someone running from the police by by attempting to clothesline him, but ended up doing a Rock Bottom on him instead.
3. As an older adult, I met Duane Johnson (The Rock) in person... and no, I neither clotheslined or Rock Bottomed him.

This is tough. I've never heard of anyone being allergic to strawberries but you also seem too fun-spirited to not like rollercoasters. I'm going with: #1 is the lie.

My lie was #2. I don't think anyone could get me to take a bet that involved any kind of a butch cut.

1. Turns out my friend had a frontal bridge, so when I clotheslined him it knocked them out... me and my other friend were shocked... we had known him for a few years and had no idea he had false teeth.

2. I felt bad for the kid I took down, the cops were all over him like he was hardened criminal... but I had to do it because what if that was my "Spiderman Origin"?

3. My friend got a signature for me but I didn't get to meet him in person... and I've only gone to one live WWE event when it was at the Honda Center years ago.... "Awww... you didn't know? Well your [bleep] better caallll someboddddyyyyyy!".

I replayed that "clothespin" video four times and I still can not tell what is happening there. It means holding the palm of your hand out and forcing someone to do a face-plant in it? That doesn't sound right. I'm learning a lot about you in this thread, IHO. Namely that I am a little bit afraid of you.
