Since I forgot to start a new round of Monday Fun Day this week, and we are now on hump day, we'll just continue the current thread.

I have received a new submission:

I like: Hitchcock films. Black & white photos. Double malts. Native American artifacts. Motown, blues, praise & worship music. Elvis. Sterling silver & turquoise jewelry. Walking. Mechanical Regulator clocks. Anniversary clocks. Pendulum clocks. Very funny people. Organizing things. Taking notes. Remembering useless trivia. Soaking up information on real estate.

I dislike: People who hurt animals and kids. Financially destructive people who ask for hand-outs. Arrogance. Snoody restaurants that serve weird, overpriced food. TV commercials with blaring volume.

I value: Having a few close people in my life. They are healthy. That, I truly value.

Major achievements of mine: Knowing binary code. Learning how to drive on a manual transmission at 13. Being the first of my friends to buy a house. Having been spared heartache so many others endure by finding my gem of a spouse on the first try. Giving my parents a car. Having my spouse say I make better meatballs than my Italian mother-in-law but swear me to secrecy. (When she is on her death bead, slipping away, I am going to whisper it into her ear.) Being told I'm a really good kisser.  :-[

Major goals of mine are: To gain close friends. See my children reach milestones, grow up, and have productive lives as fine adults I can be proud of. To one day become the best party host ever. Become a mentor / parent / guardian to an adolescent or two who is without family support of their own.
