Monday Fun Day - Beating the Monday Blues
"Guess Who"

This time we will see how well we know each other or think we know each other.

I like?.archaeology, history, writing, chocolate, traveling, suspenseful spy movies, comfortable clothes, and lots of other things.

I dislike?.arrogance, rudeness, cheesecake, and people who block the drink machine while putting a lid on their cup and inserting their straw (my biggest pet peeve).

I value?.family, honesty, and kindness.

Major achievements of mine??graduating from law school (even though I hated it) and passing the bar exam.

Major goals of mine are???.to live without regrets, explore the world, and have a happy family.

The author of that first entry was indeed traceimage. I never knew she went to law school. Very cool.

Here is #2:

I like cars, playing basketball, hanging out with the wife.

I dislike people who forget to turn off their blinkers and people who pose and take pictures at 85 degrees bakery (really fobby and holds up the line) .  :P

I value independence, hardwork, honesty, and family.

Major achievements of mine?very fortunate to be able to purchase a nice home in Irvine at a somewhat young age and also marrying a wonderful woman.

Major goals of mine are? To have my next business venture fully running by age 30 and hopefully kids soon  :)

Since I forgot to start a new round of Monday Fun Day this week, and we are now on hump day, we'll just continue the current thread.

I have received a new submission:

I like: Hitchcock films. Black & white photos. Double malts. Native American artifacts. Motown, blues, praise & worship music. Elvis. Sterling silver & turquoise jewelry. Walking. Mechanical Regulator clocks. Anniversary clocks. Pendulum clocks. Very funny people. Organizing things. Taking notes. Remembering useless trivia. Soaking up information on real estate.

I dislike: People who hurt animals and kids. Financially destructive people who ask for hand-outs. Arrogance. Snoody restaurants that serve weird, overpriced food. TV commercials with blaring volume.

I value: Having a few close people in my life. They are healthy. That, I truly value.

Major achievements of mine: Knowing binary code. Learning how to drive on a manual transmission at 13. Being the first of my friends to buy a house. Having been spared heartache so many others endure by finding my gem of a spouse on the first try. Giving my parents a car. Having my spouse say I make better meatballs than my Italian mother-in-law but swear me to secrecy. (When she is on her death bed, slipping away, I am going to whisper it into her ear.) Being told I'm a really good kisser.  :-[

Major goals of mine are: To gain close friends. See my children reach milestones, grow up, and have productive lives as fine adults I can be proud of. To one day become the best party host ever. Become a mentor / parent / guardian to an adolescent or two who is without family support of their own.
