Missing Irvine Woman?s Snow Covered Vehicle Found Near Big Bear

Rescue crews near Big Bear on Monday were searching for a missing Irvine woman whose snow covered vehicle was found near a trailhead over the weekend.

Lisa Ann Cimbaluk, 35, was reported missing by family members on Dec. 30, one day after she was last seen at her Irvine home, the Irvine Police Department stated in a news release.

Cimbaluk?s snow covered vehicle was found Sunday at the Woodland Trailhead in Fawnskin (map), according to Jodi Miller of the San Bernardino County Sheriff?s Department.

San Bernardino deputies and volunteers were searching the area for Cimbaluk, but she had not been found.

Rescuers were concerned about the cold overnight temperatures in the area, Miller said.

Cimbaluk was described as Caucasian, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

There were no signs of foul play in Cimbaluk?s disappearance, according to the Police Department.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Irvine Police Department at 949-724-7200, the San Bernardino County Sheriff?s Department?s Big Bear Station at 909-866-0100, or their dispatch at 909-387-8313.

P.S. This part got my attention:
"There were no signs of foul play in Cimbaluk?s disappearance, according to the Police Department."

Riiiight.

The last time they said no foul play then they found the car and still no foul play until they opened the trunk and found an all bruised up asphyxiated victim and ultimately concluded no foul play.

Do you need snow chains right now to get up to BigBear?
I think you needed it on DEC 30.
