Maynard Parker / Mid-Century photos

For all you mid-century lovers, the Huntington Library acquired the rights to the Maynard Parker collection. He was, among other thing, the photographer for House Beautiful in the post WWII era. Info and link to pics here.

I'll be spending the next couple of years looking through the collection. ;-)

1. please note that I offered an adventure thingy to the Huntington library.

2. Your salad bowls are still outside my door.... Dude, BK snarfed all the salad so they have been washed.

3. press on..

A Huntington trip could be fun. Are they exhibiting the Parkers?

Um... I dunno whose bowls those are. I (finally) picked mine up on Monday. :)

Count me in on any tour like this, especially if that guy who doesn't know what a condo is if it was built over him... BK would be willing to be the lead tour guide. I have to admit... I am a hypocrite... I have been meaning to go to the Huntington for years now, and I have actually never been there. Gawd I need to get out more.

And... I don't wanna know why BK loves salad tossed by IHBers so much... maybe that is why the bowls are still there. For the record: I did not bring any bowls that were used for salad, guacamole yes, but they came home with us. No salad.
