Maricopa design appointments options/process

maybe they will still allow the final inspection. but not for pre-drywall any more.
probably because the law didn't mandate that to happen.

CA building code law is very vague on "when" the inspections can be done... so it doesnt necessarily rule out pre-drywall inspection(s)... so the laws on the buyers side...

IP knows this and is probably just playing hardball cause the market is on the seller side right now... if you really want it and will make hell for it, im 120% sure u can get what u want from them...

what has changed? IP didnt allow pre-drywall inspections before and IP's legal team didnt allow it for liability reasons... i still did it... what is going on now? IP still doesnt allow pre-drywall and IP's legal team is against it too... what has changed since a few months ago and right now? NOTHING

the truth is everything is negotiable AND always will be... if u want it enough u will get it... if not, then the same cheap talk/rhetoric can easily dissuade you...

1st major appointment for a Maricopa plan 1 is coming up, not sure what to expect.  drove by last weekend and it looks like the foundation is down, and have an appointment later this week to go over the first set of builder options.

So the first appointment occurs after the foundation is already laid?  You'd think it needs to happen before since the placement of foundation bolts may depend on the room options.
