Heh... to connect to RE... my eyebrows are more 3CWG... the Rock's is a 1-car garage.

This thread still creeps me out... I rarely even think about my eyebrows.
 
+1 for caveman.  Except for the back of my neck, that bugs me.  I don't touch anything else unless it is very obvious.  Then I just use my two fingers to take care of it.  Like IHO, I don't even think about that kind of stuff.

edit:  I will add I used to be a big body shaver (just chest and stomach) when younger.  Back in the gotta be ripped for the beach days.  Lets just say all those years made me believe in the "if you shave it then it will only grow back faster and thicker"  rumor.
 
With spring upon us and summer approaching, let's talk about sandals, shall we?

First thing's first: Don't wear socks with sandals.

Secondly: Toe hair. If you have very hairy toes, think about shaving or at the least - trimming them. None of us want to see your Cousin It piggies peeking out from the sandals.

Lastly: If you can't follow #1 and #2, wear close-toed shoes.
 
Ooo... you just hit my other pet peeve... men who wear slippers/sandals with pants.

I'm sorry... maybe I'm too old school... but there should be only two reasons a man should show his feet in public... it should involve water (beach or pool) or MMA.
 
I actually agree with you there, Iho. Call me old-fashioned, but I don't consider it "proper" for men to wear sandals outside the two occasions you've mentioned. The area where it's really gone too far is people in general - especially men - wearing sandals out to a restaurant! I was raised that this is not proper attire for dining out. When people are eating, they don't want to be looking at bare feet. I do feel there is an exception if you're a woman and well-kept, presenting yourself nicely (the shoes are in good taste, pedicure done.) I'll be forgiving of the fact that styles have changed and women don't wear nylons much anymore, so bare feet are more common. But other than that, people these days have gotten so lazy and take no pride, just letting it all hang out in respectable places. Let's have some courtesy for others.

Cmon Socal - dont be stuck in 78!!!! People evolve, times change, what was not accepted before is now and vice versa.  There is nothing wrong with wearing sandals to dinner.
 
I don?t own/wear sandals but I like to wear nice flip flops with jeans during the summertime.
Out for a casual dinner or Disneyland, I think it's appropriate
 
Correct, I am stuck in '78... 1778, as a matter of fact. Definitely born in the wrong century. However, one thing has remained consistent over time. Looking at people's bare feet is not, has never been, and never will be appetizing. So, why not do everyone a favor?

There are some sandals you wear with socks, mainly for sporting activities.  For example, you put on your socks at the house but where these to the football field/soccer field or bball court.

you don't put on the cleats/bball shoes til you get on the field/court.  Also, afterwards you usually don't take off the socks right away for multiple reasons.  Your feet will smell like crap and be all sweaty.  You don't want to be carrying around supersweaty/stinky socks.

but yeah, if they are like rainbows or whatever.  No socks!  I'm guilty of wearing my rainbows 365 days a year even with jeans or sweats. 
 
disagree with you socal...i wear flip flops 99% of the time.  jeans, t-shirt, flip-flops is fine for majority of the restaurants in OC.  obviously fine dining is different but i would not look out of place at a single restaurant in spectrum

but i will give you this, its purely out of laziness.  maybe i should try more often...my wife would probably be happier
 
@26: Yeah... the only slippers I own are slides... and I wear them around the house with socks... the only time I wear them out of the house is to play ball (still with socks)... but I wouldn't wear them as casual wear.

I will confess that I did use to wear Birkenstocks, but like the slides, I wore them with socks and usually... it was only to some type of athletic event where I had to change into shoes.

I realize that more ethnic people wear flip-flops regularly but I think that's also cultural so I can give a pass there.

I used to have a non-pc joke about men showing their feet in public... as they were one of three things:

1. Metrosexual (so they had well-groomed feet)
2. Gay (ditto with #1... and I'm hoping this doesn't press a hot button)
3. Lazy

Seems like rkp confirmed #3.

Gross Story: There is someone I know who had the ugliest feet and he wasn't the cleanest guy either. One time... we were sitting at a table playing cards and the smell was killing me... so that's probably another reason why I'm anti guy feet.
 
your feet shouldnt smell if you only wear flip flops as your feet should stay dry and bacteria shouldnt grow.

and lazy was for restaurants...there is definitely clothing that i look better in with flip flops than with shoes.  cargo shorts and a graphic tee with tennis shoes makes me look like a dork.  actually tennis shoes with any clothing outside of sports wear is much uglier to me than flip flops.
