i pluck but just to keep them from being too thick, the ones that the Rock is sporting are too thin.  i also use clippers on my pits to keep it nice and short.  i wont go into details as to what i do below the waist.

Where are you tweezing the brows? Under the brow? Near the midline?

As for the rest - yes, I understand. You're doing the right thing. Totally normal.

For pain relief, for those of you who are fathers - you can try taking some of your baby's Orajel that is used for teething and applying it to your brow before you begin tweezing. It is a topical anesthetic. I am sure the makers would not recommend doing this but just be careful not to get it in your eye.

I actually enjoyed getting my eyebrows shaped via a combination of wax and tweezers.
Now, my wife pretty much uses tweezers to pluck and shape them.

If you are okay with waxing then you may also want to try sugaring. It is done similar to waxing except many people feel it is more comfortable because the solution is not hot and it does not adhere to the skin as much as wax - just the hair. So, you have the same benefits without as much of the pain.

OMG... seriously... et tu USC?

If Homer or IR2 comes in here and fesses up to 'scaping... I'm moving to France.
Yup, just a bit off the top and ends...hurt like hell the first time (like 10 years ago), no big deal now.

Homer... Deuce... get over here and tell IHO that it's really okay to keep yourself presentable.

IHO, I hope you're not taking this "man" thing to the extreme. You do brush your teeth and get haircuts, I hope. This isn't much different.

Au revoir IHO  ;)

My wife does my brows for me.  Mainly tweezers to shape and cleam them up.. She puts a hot towel over my brows and in my mouth for a few seconds to make it less painful and to mufflle my screaming... Be sure to keep tissue near by for when you start tearing up from the pain..  :'(

Since we are on this topic...

For the men: What type of hair styles do you guys have?

For the women: What type of hair styles do you prefer guys to have?

I prefer guys to have:

clippers set at 3 or 4 on sides and back
Neck squared off, not rounded. I'm very picky about that for some reason.
Scissors on top
Sideburns any length from short to long as long as they are not too bushy

you guys need to step your game up and do your own brows - nothing gets the job done like a good tweezerman tweezer.

and cmon homer - it only hurts the first couple of times after that it is painless. what i do let my wife pluck out are my gray hairs. ive started getting them around my temple areas, so i have her pluck out the greys about once a month. if i do grow more grey hairs im hoping i get to grow the white wings like the dude on the sopranos, Pauly i think?
