Anyone know of any local bars or restaurants in Irvine/oc showing the fight?

Yes, I do, Fishfinder. Dave and Buster's @ The Spectrum. Choose between a $20 cover charge vs. premium admission for $35 (currently sold out according to one link) vs. a choice of 2 package deals w/ food & games for $68 & $88. Will put the links below. You would also have luck using the search feature on FB. I have seen several venues in O.C. pop up as unintended results each time I start typing "Mayweather" into the bar. I hope this helps.

I money (literally speaking) is on Money Man.  >:D

So, is it the inch and a half height advantage? The extra 5" reach? The undefeated record?... What??  ;) Btw, I'd like to know what the Vegas odds are... I haven't checked. I wonder if you will be heading to your home-away-from-home for this bout. Anyway, are you sure he's ready for the southpaw? That's the one that makes me think.

You know, it's a tough one. I have a great deal of respect for Manny not just in the ring but outside the ring. I would really like to see him victorious in this.

the only way manny wins is if the fight is fixed. which i can see happening so they can each get another 100 million dollar pay day.

Anyone notice the slew of pacquiao commercials recently, the pistachio one, foot licker one, kimmel promos, win or lose pacquiao making some decent money in advertising

Or the fight is a DRAW....now that would really juice up a re-match.

Why no Floyd commercials? Could it be advertisers don't like his transgressions?

I hope Manny knocks him out, just because a guy who hits women needs to be taught a lesson.

With all the things going on in the NFL and elsewhere, most advertisers will not touch any athletes that are associated with DV.  It should be that way.

I predict you're both right, actually. However, I can see it being a draw or Manny winning by a Split Decision. If it was put to Floyd, I can't really see him throwing the fight by allowing a knockout. And if he won, it would just be a big, collective, "I told you so." With a draw, the fans are going to want a final answer... another bout, and a windfall for everyone involved. Then again, although it may be naive to think the fight won't be fixed when there is this much money involved, the fact of the matter is Floyd admitted that after this upcoming fight, he will be in the "billion dollar club" in an interview I watched the other day. His ego may be larger than his greed right now. And with as much talk of fight-fixing surrounding this as there has been, it may be just a bit too predictable. What bank robber would rob a bank everyone had pointed out and was watching? If it was going to happen, it may not go down the way we think it would but rather, a different place at a different time...

Hooters wasn't on the list... I think they are charging $20-25 and there is a VIP package.

That is the second time you've brought up Hooters. (Yes, I'm counting.) I can guess where you'll be on fight night.
