I like how there are only 4 pictures and sold "As Is".

I wonder what "in the process of being remodeled" means?

Are we talking the home is gutted, just needs some "touching up", or what??? Show us!!!!

You can look in the windows and the rooms are empty with some need of drywall. I think they ran out of money mid-thought. Not what I would expect for 2 mil but it does have two 50 foot docks.

That side of the Shore sure is a disaster area. Remember this one? It got pulled and is probably still empty but is this guys neighbor.

I understand it is the "Island". But what planet do these people think the "Island" is on? An "Island" made of solid gold with a vast reservoir of oil under it? On "Island" reality there is no way this shack appreciated even the minuscule $8000.00 in the last three years. Too funny.

Naples Island is constructed on fill. And is extremely susceptible to liquifaction. Our property was only 0.5' above sea level and during a high enough tide the ocean would rise into our garage from the storm drains. We once found a crab shell amongst some boxes in the garage; very cool. Living on the island is a unique experience and Naples Bayside Academy is a wonderful school. But with global warming, and the oceans rising, it seems that at some point in time, parts of Naples Island will be under some water. Years, decades? I dunno.

Hell, maybe I’ll end up buying Trooper’s old place (I promise to take care of your fake plant)!

LOL ! I drove by it the other day and it's still out there !!! 3 Years later. That tells me the buyers never even moved into this unit..... It's probably been vacant the entire time. There's nice new carpet in there !

Hey, has 413 gone under contract yet ?

EDIT: Holy CRAP ! 413 is now down to $264,900 !!!!

WOW

Dec 03, 2008 Price Changed $264,900 -- MRMLS #S08155556

Nov 25, 2008 Price Changed $330,900 -- SoCalMLS #P650076

Oct 31, 2008 Listed $279,900 -- MRMLS #S08155556

What's up with the 330K price change on Nov 25? Then right back down on Dec 03. ???

Doh!!! $246,900.00!!! Where will the pain end?

$234,000 the never ending fun hole!!

This buildng is holding up great Troop. On a cursory look I find only one unit out of around 14 for sale that is underwater. The last 6 months of sales shows alot going out at a profit. Not bad for that section of LB

Troop, your boy is officially underwater after trying to keep his head dry for 95 days, he sank under the waves and dropped is price bellow what he paid you. Still at $679 a square foot don't ya think it is still a bit pricey?

http://www.redfin.com/CA/Long-Beach/850-E-Ocean-Blvd-90802/unit-1110/home/7611767

Troop, how much longer can this guy hold on? Empty place, embarrassingly overpriced, and piling up HOA, mortgage and tax expenses?
