Good thing my dwarf lime tree is producing tons of lime. Maybe I'll go sell them to Ralph's.

You are going to make a killer margarita with those limes.  Just think a margarita that will grow in the dark. :)

How long did it take for the tree to have fruit? Also, did you buy the 5 gallon lime semi dwarf?
 
I got it at costco last spring. 5 gallons, just said dwarf. Then the rest of 2013 it only gave me one lime. This spring it's producing limes like there is no tomorrow. It's about 4 ft tall

You have it in a container right? Maybe it found the special nutrients in the soil by atmospheric osmosis. :)

yeah i have it in one of those big pots that i also got at costco, with that said, instead of of buying potting soil, i just took dirt from the base next to the hangar :-)
 
Qwerty - do you have any other suggestions on any other dwarf fruit trees to grow?

Expect the price of LIMES to go up more because of Cinco de Mayo!! Hehe

if you guys want glow in dark limes ill be setting up shop at the entrance to columbus square the weekend before cinco de mayo, only $20/lime. 

I dont have any other suggestions on trees, we bought two pots, put the dwarf lime tree in one and some hydrangeas in the other.

You could try a dwarf kumquat tree.  I saw some at Home Depot sometime ago, maybe Lowe's will have it too.

Used as a "money tree" for good feng shui.
