Let's Play Truth or Dare

Let's shake things up around here. Truth or Dare. Here is how it works:

- All the players gather - usually in a circle, but that's not possible here. So, we'll just consider the forum a virtual circle.

- One player (myself) starts the game. This player asks, "Truth or Dare" of a second player in the circle.

- The second player chooses to answer a question truthfully or perform a dare.

- The first player asks a question or presents a dare. Ideally, both should be mildly embarrassing but not mean or dangerous. Just remember - your turn to answer a question or perform a dare will come around soon.

- Continue the game by having the player who just completed the challenge (the second player) take the place of the first player and ask the next person, "Truth or Dare?"

Are you ready?

I will start. If there is no answer, I will wait a while before re-starting. Hmmm.

As I understand it, you own a doughnut shop or have owned one in the past. Question: Have you personally ever used "The 5 second Rule" in your shop or seen one of your workers do it in your presence and you still allowed the food to be sold? If you were joking about owning a doughnut shop, then we'll use the same question except answer whether or not you've put food in your own mouth after the five second rule.

When you are done answering, choose a member. Ask them truth or dare.

Good question and I get this ALL the time from friends, families, health inspectors.  But truthfully, no.  I think of all my customers like family and would never jeopardize someones health to make $$.  This goes for cooked and uncooked food products, once it hits the floor then it goes into the trash.

However, if it's at home... it's fair game for myself.  5 second rule?? More like a 10 second rule... pick it up dust it off and down the hatch  :P

IHO Truth or Dare????  :D

So that's how it is Homer? I thought we were iBuds.

Okay... how would a "Dare" work here? Seems like there isn't much that can be done via the Internet... so I'll try that:

DARE!

(And yes... one donut on the floor isn't worth the health inspection/reputation issues... but you can give them to me instead of putting them into the trash  :-* )

I asked myself that same question before deciding if it would be possible to start the game. After a few minutes, I brainstormed lots of ways to issue dares that involve things like TI flyers, model homes, and uploading photos. LOL.

IHO - If and when you get free time.  Make a sign saying "Talk Irvine Rules!!" or "3CWG Rules!!", take it to a TIC Model home (preferably Laguna Altura) and have one of the Hawks... I mean sales associates hold the sign while you take a picture of them.  Then post it here  :D

I'll give you another choice, do the one above ^^ or actually buy a home at Laguna Altura  :P  Please provide pictures of you shaking hands with a Sales Associate and you holding a "Sold" sign outside your beautiful LA home to prove you purchased one  :P

Oh boo... something I have to get up from behind my computer to do?

The problem with that is it could lead to exposing who I am to TIC... I'm trying to remain a ninja.

Your second dare has very little possibility of happening... unless TIC cuts the price by 25% (or more).

Dares have to be virtual...like write a rave review of LA with subtle hints that you're a rich Chinese and using the hidden wok features to run your anchor baby business

Rats!! I was hoping you would pick DARE, I had something good too!!

Question:
Who do you find the most annoying on Talk Irvine.  :P  (Let the drama begin)

I'm afraid of dares. Ever since the time we made college roommate take off her shirt, run down the street in her bra, whirling her shirt over her head, singing "If you want my body, and you think I'm sexy," at 2:00 in the morning.

My answer: I guess it changes, but right now, I'm going to have to go with Panda/Baby Irvine. Sorry Panda. You seem like a nice guy, but lately your John's Creek investment discussions and million dollar Chinese immigrant posts have been annoying.

My turn. Woohoo! Ok...

Querty...Truth or Dare?

Homer, he's not going to play. Want to choose another member? It's still your turn.
Hey... don't blame me Homer couldn't choose a dare that could easily be executed via the Internet.

I think dares need to take into account the medium... if you ever played T&D in real life, you don't dare someone to do something they can't do right there.

Once again... Homer's fault.  :P
