Hi all,
I'm going to be changing the flooring in my condo (main living space/kitchen, bedrooms, 1 half bath) and up until this point I was certain I was going to go with laminate. However after weeks of looking, the only laminate that I like the looks of is priced not that much less than a no-name enginneered wood with decent specs (select 5/8 thick with 4mm wear layer).
Assuming I'm careful about leaving dents and cleaning up liquids, is there any reason to not go with the engineered wood?
I suppose if I later decide to turn it into a rental it might be an issue but don't want to make a decision based on that.
And is there any way to quantify how much value it would add to the resale value vs. using laminate?
